Covid19 Protocol – 2021 Academy of LVA

• All of the classes are limited to 10 students only.

• All classes will start with drop off or parking at the Payne St. parking lot door entrance. Entrance through this door only.

• Temperatures will be taken at the entrance to the art room door, hands much be washed before entering the room.

• Students, teachers and volunteers only, will be allowed in the building.

• As protection for everyone all around, masks will be worn by everyone.

• Students will have their own batch of basic supplies kept in the art room for the 8 week sessions.  All non-basic supplies used will be deposited into a cleaning box after use, coordinator will wipe clean each week. Gloves are also on hand for such items as paint tubes.

• LVA will have plenty of hand sanitizer and hand washing stations.

• Hands must be washed before leaving the building.

• Tables, chairs, door knobs and banisters all cleaned at end of day.  Also, the computer keyboards and Wacom tablets will be cleaned after each use.

• If anyone in the class is exposed to the coronavirus, contact tracing policies by the government will be followed.

• If necessary, we may have to switch to online classes. Our first concern is for the safety of our students and teachers. Plans are in place for such an event.
