LVA Painting Lab Online Camp - June 15 through 19, 2020

Painting Lab Online Camp was a big hit last week. We had chattering, and painting and visits from our pets, and a surprising amount of great organization from our campers. Many thanks to our volunteer Blake Millwood, and to Amy Chase who puts together all of our camp webpages and slide shows. A special thank you to our painting instructor, Kayla Bischoff, who shared her talents and inspired our campers (check out those Keith Haring projects, you will see some Kayla in those)! Please check out Kayla’s new exhibit. And a big shout out to Preston Arts Center who helped put together and deliver camp supply packets, thank you!

Monday – tempera paints and techniques. Inspiration from Sonia Delaunay, abstract day.

Tuesday – watercolors and techniques. Inspiration from Paul Klee and our lovely pets.

Wednesday – acrylic paints and techniques. Inspiration from Keith Haring (and Miss Kayla).

Thursday – acrylic paints and the palette knife. Inspiration from Vincent Van Gogh.

Friday – watercolors. Inspiration from Georgia O’Keefe.
